Good news for Essex-based skiers though, as the announcement of a new route between Southend Airport and Geneva that will surely prove to be one of the more popular of the new routes. Another new route being introduced, Southend to Venice should also be popular.
Gatwick Airport sees three new routes to the Isle of Man, Turin and also Tallinn in Estonia. Tallinn has become a destination that is rising in popularity in recent years. The city’s two ‘old towns’ make for some great sightseeing opportunities.
Manchester Airport is also introducing a route to Tel Aviv.
These expansions add a further 230,000 seats to EasyJet’s winter 2012 schedule, which with these latest additions now stands at 280 routes.
